    92 2 Door Build

Well this is sad to report... As I've started pulling the front apart to start preparations for the new suspension, I've found quite a bit of damage that couldn't be seen from the exterior. After weighing my options and long term goals, it's been decided that the Jeep will NOT get repaired or...

    2 Door Side Window Seal

Recently flopped my cherokee and busted the passenger side rear window. I got a free replacement window but now need the seal that goes around the glass. The replacement glass is 1 piece so I'll need the seal that goes with that style glass, not the vent window style. OR If anyone has a...

    92 2 Door Build

In preparation for rebuilding the front, I picked up some replacement fenders and header panel. I've also purchased Ruff Stuff front frame stiffeners, and frame/axle side track bar brackets. All other brackets, truss, shock towers, etc are from Barnes. Since the shop has been filled with...

    92 2 Door Build

In August we went to Harlan. Destroyed the driver Apillar and windshield on Crawford’s Cry I believe. I’m a dumbass and left the jeep in reverse, instead of drive, and took a giant rock to the Apillar that was going through my window. Also broke the passenger tail light, passenger locking hub...

    92 2 Door Build

So, with that update out of the way, I can now explain why there hasn't been more timely updates. In addition to my full time job, a friend and I have started building rigs part time. Our first ground up build (1 ton TJ) was completed last month and the owner is extremely happy with it. We...

    92 2 Door Build

Time for a little update. I got the front axle shafts replaced with chromo inners and outers. Then we went to AOP for a 3 day weekend which was a blast but the Jeep came home quite bruised. On Friday I broke a fitting off the hydro assist ram, the driver mirror, and the driver window. I was...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Finished up a TJ rear end rebuild and started on the next project. This new project is a 3 link front, 4 link rear on a D60 front and 14bolt rear under a TJ. We'll also be stretching the rear 3-4". Estimated time to finish out the whole rig is 4-5 weeks of just week night and weekend work.

97+ 2 door door shells and glass

I bought these with the intentions of swapping them onto my jeep but have now decided to go another direction. These are only the shells, exterior door handles and glass. There are no window regulators, seals, or interior trim. It's hard to tell in the pics but the passenger door does have a...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

That's what I'm doing. I bought the other doors with the intentions of putting them on but it was much easier (read as cheaper) to pull the dents and replace the glass. Initially I got the glass quoted with Safelite and they wanted $285 for the glass which is why I bought the other doors. I...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Went to AOP this weekend. It rained the whole time but we had a blast. Jeep took a beating and I’ve got a long list of things to fix. Friday I broke a fitting on the hydroassist ram, driver door and glass. Saturday (my wife was driving) we broke the traction bar and something in the rear diff. I...

    92 2 Door Build

Yea. U-joint kicked a cap and then broke taking out the inner and outer driver side shaft. I had a stock outer and a chromo inner at the time with half circle clips. After loosing a total of 3 stub shafts to the joints throwing the caps, the replacement is chromo inner and outer, Spicer...

    92 2 Door Build

I guess I can update this thread some. Since March, life has been very busy. My job has had me traveling more and I got married. But, I was able to take the jeep out a few times and work on it here and there. My goal for this year is to make more time for taking the jeep out. I just put new...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Funny you should mention the coils centered on the tube...The initial image for the artec truss shows the coil buckets in the factory (in front of the tube) configuration but the image in the description shows it centered on the tube. I had never noticed the first prior to your comment. My...
