Im looking at getting a new header for XJ I like the banks but I really dont like the price any other suggestions. I really dont want to put a stock style back on
thats what i thought just wanted to make sure. looking at replaing oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, new exhaust manifold and so i figured if i had that much taken apart may as well do the head gasket just to be safe
how much water from the tailpipe is normal. I'm wondering if i have a head gasket starting to go out. even during the summer when its a dry 110 out I have moisture coing out of tail pipe. I get it year round i know its more common during the cold but I dont know if i should really be seeing...
shocks and sway bar bushings are new, I have one sway bar link bent so im wondering if my spring is loose because of the spacer and possibly making contact with that swaybar link
i know my trac bar is all tight because I go through and tighten it every once in a while Im about to pull the factory garbage off and put a locknut and lock washer on it with some blue lock tite just so i can make sure it doesnt come loose again
I appreciate the help I'm not upset. im going to put it over my shops oil pit tomorrow and watch the front axle while someone else hits the brakes just to see what happens its my dailoy driver so i cant afford catasrophic failures which means i should not have played with my friends though...
checked caliper bolts they are tight, when i turn the wheel to the right the noise goes away but when turned the left noise is still there. I feel the vibration into the seat so leads me to believe definintley from the drivers side. Im worried that maybe i messed something up in the pumpkin...
the caliper bolt makes perfect sense i didnt think about that as soon as my wife gets home I will check that out. My passenger side the brake caliper was nothing but a muddy mess
