Well I pulled the tranny everything looked good except for a slightly worn torque converter seal so I replaced the seal along with the seal between the t case and tranny. I also took the time since the t case was off to clock it 15 degrees to get ready for a custom flat belly skid plate...
That sucks, I have a buddy with a 93 yj and I have helped replace it twice due new ones leaking about 2 months after replacement. The last one has lasted for about 6 months so far.
Well the tranny is leak horribly at the engine plate. So either I lost the torque converter seal or the pump bushing and seal gave out. Looks like Friday will be jeep work day.
There are so many variations that could cause dw. Have you had someone turn the wheel back and forth while the engine is dead with the jeep on the ground and watched both ends of the track bar. Any play in the bar can cause dw. I have seen them wear, or I should say the bushing dry rot and...
Well I finally got around to installing my steering brace and flushing the cooling system hopefully it will help with the jeep running a little on the hotter side. Tomorrow I am gonna install new leaf spring bushings and some stock chevy shackles to lift the rear a little due to my rear springs...
did some stereo work on the jeep today installed a 6.5" component set in the doors and a set of q logic kick panels with 5.25" components. sounds great now.
