so I still cant shake the problem. I took off the belt and the idler pully spins fine and i have roughed up the pullys and the belt with 50 grit. Any other ideas? The problem is just driving me crazy. Cant pick up hot chicks when they cant hear you over the sound of your screaming Jeep

I cant shake the noise from my fanbelt. How tight is too tight? How often do the bearings go out on the pullies? Any help is much appreciated THANKS

Well its a 93 and it hasnt started doing it until recently seeing how I have been fueling it up for the last 8 years. So I am guessing that the vent is blocked. is there any way to clear it out? Thanks

When I fill up and remove the gas cap, there is a huge pressure release. It’s like my gas tank has formed a vacuum. Anybody know what this is and is it dangerous to me or my Jeep?

I matched all the colors and when I switched the connector with the harness and there was a pink/black wire that was left over and I hooked it up to an orange wire that was left over. I will try to disconnect it and see what happens. Does that sound right?

so i changed my spark plugs and after looking in the back of the Haynes manual it looks like im running hot. i used to run mid grade in my I6, should i drop back down to 87. My engine runs at about 210 maybe a bit more at long stoplights in mid summer. oh and its a 93 with 170K on it
