I'm reusing my stock NP231 shifter. I'm using an ecobox so I was planning on just throwing a boot or something to cover it up. I didn't cut as much as you. I also wanted to keep it easy to remove. I used pop rivets to secure it in place and the base is 1/8 inch plate. I don't expect much water...

So how did it go?

He came back June 20. My guess is him diluting 50/50 coolant caused his problems, and when he figured out he was diluting pre mix he drained the coolant, refilled with proper coolant mixtures, and his issue went away.

Do a full axle shaft swap on both sides. Slightly better axle u joints, and more common than axle disconnect Dana 30.

Rocker protection should be on your list. Nice looking vehicle.

So what did you end up doing? I would have considered cutting more to make it fit, but without pictures it’s hard to say.
