sounds good i need to get my motor in then ill deal with the tranny though im going to use all the 4.0 wiring and cab wiring so it should be pretty simple would you suggest getting the wiring in first or motor and trans first?
was anything done with the trans mount to move it back? im doing the same swap and i bolted up my trans and it looks like it will have to move 3" back so the motor can bolt to it and the motor mounts and did you mod the firewall?
i have a 4.0 parts car how much of the firewall did you use i got the tranny in but found out i need to redrill trans mount holes 3" back and have to cut firewall
ive heard i can just bang in the firewall for it to fit do you know where it hits? i got the 4.0 already and ready to go in so im not going with anything else
im putting a 4.0 from a renix jeep into my 85 and was wondering could i put the radiatior in the back behind the seat? i had a mr2 that had the radiatior in the front engine in back and it always stayed cool
or what if i put the stock 2.8l radiator back in would it keep it cool enough? heres my heep
if all it needs is more lift than thats fine i was planning on it anyways.. i got the truck like this and its got spring spacers that go inbetween the springs if that makes a difference and im on 33 thornburgs right now
and in the rear theres block and add a leaf
my jeeps lifted around 3 1/2 inch with drop brackets and like title says the ujoint is hitting the upper control arm and put a good dent in it what can i do to fix it? heres a pic
yes i want to use the 89 motor in the 96 with the open system it has and my 85 i want to use the 96 motor after i do a headgasket with the renix system but open cooling and and renix wiring if that clears it up im hoping the 2.8 radiator will work with the 4.0 but if not ill just grab a new one...
