I have had my 94 sport auto for four years and it has had the same sound. I first thought it was the DS u-joints (replaced) and it was no help. Had the rear end (8.25) reworked , no help. I just read the lubing of the DS splines, I'll be trying this next. Hope someone comes up with a fix!!!!!
Took that buzzer out to cure the sound, but beware, in my xj it's also connected to the head light switch and have killed the battery many times due to the forgetful mind of mine.
I just put Bridgestone Dueler A/T's 30x9.5x15 on my stock 94 xj sport with no rubbing. Don't know how much more aggressive the geo's are than the duelers.
