AW4 Manual Shift Problems

I am trying to do this mod on my 96 country
the problem I'm having is I can't get it to change from 1st to 2nd or third I am kinda good with wires so I know I have them right plus they are so easy but maybe I did get it wrong.
Torque Converter Lockup works correctly locks in 2nd 3rd and 4th not 1st
I have tried the 3 position switch like this
and also like this
when done like above I used a 3 pole for normal switch up and down sends power to both switches to change gears but it don't work right
no 2nd or 3rd but if in D i can start in 1st so I know its kinda close but not just right
please tell me what I'm missing BTW have tried with the TCM plugged and UN-plugged

Re: AW4 Manual Shift Problems

Sorry Guys come to find out the "quick" connect used in the first switch was not making contact with the switch wire thats why neither one worked but I like how Option #2 works anyways you can keep it in D and switch from 1-4 I LOVE it now time to go wheeling LOL
