Ok I have been researching the HD steering upgrade options and I have narrowed it down to 2 Manufacturers...

JCR Off Road

or

Rugged Ridge Offroad

I am not trying to step on anyone's toes but...here goes.

Has anyone ever used this:

It seems pretty decent I don't know what pros vs cons

Also the JCR offroad set up:

It is my DD with a rc 4.5" lift and 33's that sees easy to moderate trails maybe 10-20 times a year

thanks

I run the RR kit direct fit no mods to knuckles required . depending on your lift you may need to run a spacer as shown on the JCR site. or you can use a Raised Steering Bracket. Im running the bracket now as the spacers wear out to fast with 6.5" lift and wheeling often.

I bought mine here, they have free shipping :http://www.cseoffroad.com/rurisuhestli.html

Raised Steering Bracket here :http://www.jb4x4.com/products.htm

With that much lift, you really need a OTK set up or Hi steer.

that's why i got this

Raised Steering Bracket here :http://www.jb4x4.com/products.htm

I run the Rugged Ridge...Not happy with it...Looking for other options.

Hmm, the setup comanchedude is trying out looks interesting.

So the verdict on this? I'm also in need of either new stock parts or new aftermarket.... A few ripped boots are taking their tole on the stock stuff.

I have rubber spacers from JCR on my TREs to help prevent the roll that is sometimes associated with OTK steering setups

I tried the R.R. set up also... (n) They were going to let me know when they had a "spacer" developed to help prevent the tie rod roll... never heard back... I talked with them at SEMA... gave them my info. and talked over the concerns most of us have with it... again they were going to get me some spacers to try... well it's been 3 mons. & not a peep... I understand SEMA being what it is, but I feel my concerns stayed at their booth at the end of that day and in the convention center in L.V. when they left.
My POS R.R. steering has been on the garage floor and will remain there...

I'm finding the JB4X4 interesting... but don't know much about him either.
