cant drop the crossmember

well im doing a trans flush and i cant get the dipstick tube to come apart so i tried to drop the cross member and my luck it wont drop what do i do?

Explain how it wont drop. Are all four bolts/nuts are off? Or they won't come out?

The trick to getting the dipstick tube to let go is to spray it with WD-40 at the joint and then gently spin the upper part of the tube inside of the pan part of the tube, just enough to work in the lube. Then give it a good pull and it will pop loose.

Clean the pan section of the tube real good before re-installing the upper half and I always clean the upper half real well and replace the "O" ring, then lube it good with vaseline before re-installing it.
