For anyone who doesn't know about Swag Offroad, I encourage you to try some of his products. I recently purchased his 12 ton press plates and they are pure beef:

The 7" x 7" plates are made to fit the Harbor Freight 12 ton press and are great. They are $111.95 shipped.

Larger arbor press plates cost around $164.95. But once you get them you will know why. They are solid steel. No brittle porous cast iron plates from Harbor Freight to explode on you!

I've lusted after one of their DIY brakes for awhile now.

The HF silver 20Ton press I bought a year ago came with plasma cut steel plates.

Well that's a change for the better. I have the orange version with cast plates. Dammit!

I wonder if HF will sell just the new plates?

That would be a nice upgrade for a bunch of us.

Maybe if I just walk into the store with the old ones and an attorney... :rtm:

I wonder what it would run if I just gave my .dwg file to a fab shop with a CNC?
