Belts

Get yourself a piece of string or twine. Wrap it around the pullies you will be using and tie it off semi-tightly, so you can remove it. Then take the string to your local, favorite parts house and tell them you need a belt that rough size.

Nota Bene -
Maintain "wrap" (belt-to-pully surface contact arc) of at least 170-180* on the power steering pump pully, and at least 120* on the alternator pully (or, in each case, take the original routing as a minimum) to maintain power transfer efficiency. The water pump is usually run on the backside of a serpentine belt (if that's what you're using - I'm not so sure on the 2.46L,) so it often has a greater wrap than absolutely necessary - I'd consider 160-180* a minimum there as well. (It's not a "positive displacement" pump like the power steering pump and runs at a much lower pressure, but you do lose a bit with the smooth contact surfaces vice the ribbed pully/inside of the belt.) Idler wrap is not critical, except if you have the fan driven on an idler - then 135* or so should be a minimum there as well.

There may be an "AC Delete" pully available for the 2.46L, like we have on the early 4.0L. You'll know if you check at the local parts house and find that the belt with and without aircon are the same part.
