I’m moving back to California and I can’t take my XJ with me. I am the original owner of this Jeep. It was purchased in Tucson, Arizona and spent the majority of its life in AZ and CA. I moved to Boston 3 years ago, so it has only seen a couple winters - it is essentially rust free.

I drove this Jeep cross country and have taken it on numerous trips. It has had all regular maintenance preformed and has never left me stranded. It has been a great car and I am sad to see her go. I have taken very good care of it over the years and would like to see it go to a good home. It has a clean title, comes with all major receipts, original window sticker, etc. It has never been in an accident and has never had any body work done of any kind. It still has the original paint that shows well.

It has been lightly modified to suit my needs and comes with a lot of additional accessories. It does have some very minor issues that can be easily fixed and they in no way affect the potential for this vehicle to be a great daily driver (see below for more information).

General Vehicle Specifications & Description:
*4.0 Liter High Output motor with ~109,000 miles, auto transmission [AW4], power steering and anti-lock brakes.
*Full time full wheel drive [NP242].
*A/C blows cold.
*Power windows & locks, manual mirrors, and grey cloth interior.
*The interior is extremely clean, with no stains on the seats or carpets. There is a minor tear on the side of the driver seat, about 1” long.

Suspension and Drive Train:
*Rancho Suspension 2.5” lift. Installed about 10 years ago and still performs great. It has developed an extremely minor case of “death wobble.” It only happens around 55 mph and goes away above that. I’m not sure if it is tire related or suspension related. To be honest, this car rarely sees the highway so it is has not been much of an issue lately.
*The suspension system was professionally installed by Desert Rat in Tucson, AZ.
*31” BFG All-Terrain tires on stock wheels.

Exhaust System:
*I know the Jeep has a small crack in the exhaust manifold (whose doesn’t?) and the catalytic converter is due to be replaced.
*I am including in this sale a brand new still in the box, Doug Thorley ceramic coated header. I am also including a brand new Magnaflow catalytic converter and new O2 sensors.
*All new exhaust parts retail for over $500.
*The Jeep also has a high performance muffler. It is also missing the exhaust pipe after the muffler.
*However, the car has passed all MA smog tests.

Custom Sound & Security System:
*Sony head unit single CD player.
*Sony 6-disc MiniDisc changer.
*Boston Acoustic 5.25” component speakers all the way around.
*Advent 4x50 watt amp to power all speakers.
*Rockford Fosgate 2 channel amp and Advent 12” sub enclosure in back.
*All running through a custom equalizer.
*Clifford Alarm system with 2 remotes.
*The entire sound and security system was professionally installed by The Specialists in Tucson, AZ.

Additional Accessories:
*MacNeil all-weather rubber floor mats and cargo mat
*Yakima ski racks
*KC driving lights
*Brand new Optima Red Top battery
*Rear hatch window limo-tinted

Miscellaneous:
*The windshield has a ~10” crack in it. It does not leak or affect the view driving.

This is a very well cared for and loved vehicle. I am really sad to see her go and know that with a little love it would make a great daily driver or trail rig. I am an honest individual and gave an honest description of my Jeep. I’d like to see this Jeep go to someone who know XJ’s and who appreciates them. It would be hard to find a cleaner, better cared for XJ.
