I have a keyless entry system out of a 01 XJ for sale. This contains a key fob and circuit board. I plugged the board up in my 97 and it works fine. All you would have to do is take and plug it up to your factory wiring harness(usually inside the dome light cover). Im looking to get $50 for it picked up or $60 shipped. Seeing as the fob is $50 and the dealer charges $45 to program, this seems fair. All you would have to do is plug it up and go, no programming necessary.
