Well we got our 'new' XJ and the only problem is. The blinker does not unclick for left turns only... the right hand blinker release is working fine.. Any idea's? atriot:

The signal cancel mechnism tab broke off. You'll have to have it replaced. Mine did the same thing, except I was under warranty at the time, so the dealer did it for free....

think a 2nd owner 98 with 68K is still under warranty?

The3year/36000 would cover that so I think you are out of luck for something like that. Pick up a Chilton's manual there is instructions on how to remove the steering wheel for the repair. It's not hard at all. :read:
