Time for the NAXJA Sierra Chapter's 11th Annual Holiday Toy Drive.

Same format as usual with collection points at Prairie City in Rancho Cordova, and at Hollister Hills in Hollister.

Check this thread for more details regarding meet up time and locations in the parks once the date gets closer.

Everyone is invited regardless of the type of vehicle you drive.

Participants are asked to bring a NEW unwrapped toy worth at least $5 suitable for a young boy or girl. All toys collected will be donated to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program in Early December.

Note that the Marine Corp will not accept any type of guns, including Nerf guns, or any type of military themed toys.

Once you donate your toy, hang around and meet some of your fellow NAXJA members and have some fun in your rig.

Just a note: As the lead person involved with this event I would like to take a minute to thank everyone who has participated over the last 10 years. Many clubs and individuals have come and gone over the years who have made this a fun and beneficial event. In the end, the people who come out and donate the toys are the ones who deserve the credit for keeping this event going.

It started as an idea to help some underprivileged kids have a better Christmas. It has since turned into a great social event and the perfect excuse to go hang out at a couple of our local OHV parks. Attending this run is a show of support for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

I want to emphasize the fact that anyone and everyone is invited to this event. Even if you don't bring a toy, stop by and check us out. You'll see that we are different. Our forum and club isn't controlled by one person. You won't get blocked because we are on some sort of overblown ego trip. There is a small but dedicated group of us that keep this Chapter going. Stop by and meet a few of us. You'll see for yourself we aren't nearly as bad as that one guy says we are.

I also want to thank XJensen for his dedication to keeping the Prairie City event going. There has always been a much smaller turnout there as Prairie City itself doesn't offer much in the way of adventure for a whole day. If you can't make it all the way to Hollister Hills, go check out PC for a few hours.

So PC has norcal rock racing event that day at PC . They usually close off the wheeling

Some of the guys on our FB group were talking that it might be a good way to get some exposure too if we kept the date . Or we could do it another day also. Or move it

The Prairie City location will be shut down this year. Stay tuned for possible alternate date or location.

The Hollister Hills run is still on as usual. Collection times will run from 10am until 1pm. Look for the Holiday Toy Drive banner at the staging area near the main obstacle course.

Have fun guys !!!

Good times at the toy run. Got to see jk playing In mud hole for a bit. Then got out of mud pit and drove up out of mud and into a nice hole. Haha. Good times

Looks like a good time, sorry we missed it. We had to go up to Tahoe to get out of the smoke, and Green Junk isn’t running right now.
