I'm tired of my driver-side power seat working intermittently or not at all. I'm looking at converting it to a manual slider.
So far I have ordered and reordered a manual slider bracket from Quad T. This is either not a direct conversion or they keep sending me (3 times) the wrong part. Actually the first one was a passenger side rail.
So I have a 98 Xj Limited with a power seat on the driver side only. I was hoping for a quick replacement bracket if one exists. The picture on the Quad T site looks correct, but the parts they've sent have an offset and the holes do not match up.
I also thought about a salvage yard part, but I don't live within 150 of a yard. Before I go looking can anyone tell me if the hole patterns, etc are all the same between power and manual seat adjustments? Should this be a simple swap out?
thanks all
