steering pop when turning

I see you're in Atlanta.

I'd go hit up the SEC chapter forum and see if someone can meet up with you and take a look.
 
First piece of advice you will get is to not buy RC parts!

False...Tight u joints on the axles can cause a return to center issue and popping when turning.

Possible but not likely, the OP already re-located the trackbar making the angles even worse, combine that with fixed lca's........
 
The angle in the lca's means absolutely nothing. Your going to need some "good" adjustable arms with the same for a trackbar/drop mount.
 
BTW, you should be looking at new uca's and control arm drop brackets.
