I've got a Ford 8.8 from a 99 Explorer.
4.10 gears open diff.
Disc brakes
Flange adapter
Spring Pads already welded on for an XJ.
Pinion seal leaks a little (doesn't drip, just noticed dampness around the seal). I think the pinion coast bearing is going bad. It makes a little bit of noise when I let off the gas (other than that is quiet). No metal on the fill plug. That bearing is the easiest to change and it's cheap. I took the whole axle out because I wanted LSD.
