Racing against the grain
I see what you're talking about but it's been adjusted since that was taken. They're not going anywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Racing against the grain
New harness is in and engine runs just fine. I have a weird situation though. I have 3 plugs for O2 sensors, my jeep only has 2. I have a 2000 and the harness I got is off a 2000. The upstream sensor won't connect to the 02 plug on the harness side above the transmission. The down stream isn't long enough to reach the sensor.... then there's one plug up in front of the fuel rail going down from the thermostat. I'm at a loss there.

Re: Racing against the grain
Probably a California emissions harness but your XJ isn't.

Re: Racing against the grain
Thats what I was thinking. I'll just use part of the old harness to make everything fit and reach.

Racing against the grain
Got my switch panels from Dirtbound Offroad installed. I'm really satisfied with the clean look. Should of done this awhile ago.

Racing against the grain
Got a little further on the front bumps. What you see here is the final version of how the bump is held and how the coil is retained. The bracket you see will be on the inside of the engine bay. We are running out of time to design a proper bracket to be laser cut out, so we're sorta making it up as we go with what we have.

Re: Racing against the grain
Way too much lol. ~$1250 bumps included. I'd guess only super serious jeepspeed people would buy these, the rest would probably make their own if they were up to it.
I think I need to adjust fire on the picture sizes. I'm using tapatalk for the first time in forever and I guess full size is big?

Re: Racing against the grain
lol King are the only ones that fully thread their bump. But a non threaded version with a set screw or whatever doesn't seem impossible.

Re: Racing against the grain
Those bump stops are coming out sweet.
But yes, justifying that price tag to the Committee of Ways and Means is going to be tricky.

From my experience with the committee embezzlement is the only way to go.

I have been caught too many times.
Call it one of the downsides of being married to a corporate financial analyst. ![]()
