Fuel Line Replacement

I've got a 1997 XJ with 250,000 miles that I preparing for some of the Backcountry Discovery Routes. Next, I'm planning on replacing the fuel pump and fuel lines and installing a GenRight extended range tank.

I haven't replaced fuel lines before, and I need some advice.

1. Should I purchase the OEM pre-bent lines, or should I bend my own?
2. I haven't found much online. Does anybody have a link to a write-up?
3. Any other tips or tricks?

Thanks!

Most of it is plastic. How much do you want to spend and how much protection do you want to achieve?

I'd rather do it right than do it cheap. I don't really want to have to mess with it again.

This XJ isn't going rock crawling, it's an adventure build. I'm less worried about protection and more worried about durability and it being maintenance and hassle free.
