It's the insta-winch!!! Haha sorry Gordo, I had to throw that in there... Anyone who hasn't heard of that please give that a Google. It's worth it for the laugh.

Yeah its a boostwerks comp winch and steering brace. And it does work. Thanks alan.

My coolant temp sensor was loose. The connector has always been missing the clip portion.

The oil pressure sensor plug has about an inch of exposed wires out the back side. So the wires were touching a bit and sending the gauge to zero. Im just going to throw some tape on them. Haha

As far as the map. Im oretty sure it was just the connector. I drove it another 75 miles that night after i messed with it. No more codes. So i think its good.

Started to get my traction bar kit together and realized im missing all the bushings. So i ordered the bushings from ruff stuff. And also ordered the parts to update the upper arm to an adjustable one instead of fixed. Those parts will be here tomorrow. So ill jump on it sunday i think.

Threw together some mounts for my awning. Its a temp setup anyway. It will have a different rack on the new rig. Not a fan of how high it is. But it wont look so bad when i have my table and junk strapped up there too.

After rubicon we had a slam fest with ryans rig at my house to get him back whole for slickrock.

New d30 ARB (old one was over 20yrs old)
New gears
New steering box
Ujoint
Rear wheel bearings (race was shedded so we had to clean out the whole rear end and put it back together)
All in about 20 hours of work.

Last weekend we ran bronco canyon with some first timers. It was awesome. Keith smashed his gas tank. Blake knocked is radiator core support loose and it met the fan so we had to limp it back while leaking fluid. And dave flopped his buddies 4runner. And i didnt take any pics of that stuff. Took the buggy line at the end and caved my drivers door in. Haha

Today i decided to throw in a v2 of my shifters. Tried to rout them away from my legs a bit more. They burned my leg before when i wore shorts. They are also a bit longer and much easier to shift now. I might even be able to shift into a front dig now when i actually need it.

Buggy line at the end with the big u-turn around a rock on the right side of the canyon that Jake did a while back at Reno?

“Buggy/Bonus” line. Yup. I think i finally got this rig dialed in to work well. That traction bar made a huge difference. The leafs i put in before settled a bit but no where near as bad as last year. Ive finally started dialing down my tire pressures too. Seems to work well at 11psi. Gonna try lower on the next run out. Probably 9psi

Thats so awesome. Anyone get video or pics of the Bonus line?

I don't get the stories. It is a temporary thing and nobody gets to enjoy looking at stuff at a later date.
