Anybody have a Ford hookup?

you have an AW4 with the 'park' feature... no?

Why do you need an emergency brake?

Phil's hasn't worked since we lived in Ventura together...

Till I started competing, mine didn't work for approx 1.5 years, and mine has a manual! I just threw it in gear and turned it off...

just buy these, and run the $12 GM 3/4 ton front calipers -

I don't need the e-brake, but I have to use the hat-style rotors, so I thought it would be nice.

I can't use the K20 rotors because the lug studs I would need don't exist, and I can't use the K20 calipers because the rotor thickness is too far off. So, I need brackets for the convoluted Ford calipers, which, I'm sure I could make, but I was hoping to see what the OEM one looks like at least.

Just thought of this... the sheriffs dept gets a discount at the ford dealership on Madison, so... maybe on parts too? Is that something they would have there?

I guess you would just call back and ask if they happen to include parts with their blue oval pricing they pass on the the dept.?

Full float D70 junk - right?

What size are the lug studs? I know that a lot of the drag race guys run threaded lug studs -
similar to this:

perhaps drilling out the hub, tapping it for 9/16" or something like that, then run 9/16" threaded lug studs, and whatever rotor you want - because the threaded lug studs come in like every length up to like 4" long...?

never mind - read your thread on pirate...

Are there any other D60? or D70 hubs that work on your spindle?

I've never seen those threaded studs before... interesting...

I'm sure there are other hubs that would work on my spindle, but that's one thing I can't really research at home... I'd just have to hit the JY and hope I could find one that doesn't use the same studs.

I'm going to hit a few more recyclers tomorrow and hopefully get the ford brackets cheaper. Having an e-brake will be nice on occasion.

Thanks bro,
Billy

Do the hubs have the knurl diameter problem, or the rotors you want to run?

Can you drill the hubs out to like 3/4", weld in some 3/4"x.120 DOM, then drill it out to the knurl dia you need?
