I'm in the process of installing a Painless Wiring 7 port fuse box. I have a 1990 4.0 AW4 XJ and the only decent spot I can see to mount the thing is over the catalyst on the firewall. I would like to mount it over the part which says the year model of it.
Is it safe to drill holes for the screws, and put the screws in themselves without hitting anything behind the firewall? Just want to make sure I won't damage anything with the screws by mounting it there.
It clears the closed hood just fine, and I can't really think of a better spot to mount it.
Thanks
