1987 MJ

I'm the 3rd owner and she came to me March 2010. Originally purchased at Alachua AMC Jeep in 1987 as a 2wd metric ton.

2nd owner was a friend of mine who bought it in bone stock form. I traded an XJ to him for it. When I got it she was on near bald street tires and was still 2wd but had been lifted and axles put in it front and rear. Had a 14 bolt welded rear and 10 bolt open front converted to leaf front suspension. I geared it to 5.13 and put 35's on it and stabbed in a D-300 T-case and wheeled it for 4 years like that when I decided to jump to 37's. Broke the front 10 bolt 3 times at the 2015 Crawl and went to a D-60 front. So now she's on D-60 front, 14B rear 5.13's and welded at both ends. I estimate 8-10" of total lift with 37" TSL SX-II's. A LOT of body damage from Harlan but she's still going strong.

This year will make the 6th Crawl we've taken her to (I'm missing some pics from 2015 and 2017) so 2013-2018 making 6 at Harlan once we make this year (been to 2 in Tellico RIP with different rigs though)

1995 2dr 4.0 auto.
4.5" Rusty's short arm
33's, stock gears, open diff
Receivers front and rear with 9k winch on receiver mount.
Setup for flat towing with modified frame bracket from a 05 Liberty.
Taken to 3 Crawls. Looking forward to next year.
Picked up 12 years ago for free from a friend. It was 2wd with a bad tranny and 192k miles. Picked up necessary drive train from a wrecked 92 4x4 and took the whole mess to a cabin in Ga. Wrenched on it in the basement for 2 years during family vacations with the kids. Parked the Excursion and used the XJ as a DD when gas reached $4. Daughter used as DD for 2 years of highschool. (Had to borrow from her for last 2 Crawls). Just sent her to college with a 11 Liberty so the XJ is mine again.
