Trailer the camry up! :roflmao:

1) Save up fuel, food, and camping money

2) Get a trailer to haul the MJ

3) really need new back tires on MJ

4) (hallelujah goal) cage in bed so my kids don't have to get out on every obstacle!

5) Hope and pray the dodge keeps running strong to haul everyone and everything up there and home (it made it to St Louis and back over Christmas.)

I have been getting better at wheeling it lately....needs some at's

Wonder if they make a limited slip for a Camry Transaxle....

As for me....buy a house so I can figure out how much (if any) money i'll have left over.

I need:

regear my axle(for WF too)
order 33's
have frame stiffeners welded on
new exhaust(before WF)
put t-case skid back on(before WF)
lift it another inch to clear the 33's
Maybe try and scrounge up some money for some raceline steel beadlocks

1.) Save money for gas
2.) Fix exhaust
3.) Replace everything under the front that has to do with handling
4.) Front recovery
5.) Armor anywhere I can get it
6.) Convince dad it's a good idea

I might need to wait till the 2014 Crawl...

I would really like to get my axle swap/4.56s done with at least one locker. I don't know if that will happen this Spring, but I am ok with wheeling the XJ in its current form. Besides rebuilding some joints, replacing bushings, overall tightening up the suspension.

Well we scrapped the '67 J3000...once we tore it down to the frame we dsicovered way too much rust to even try to save it.
But on a good note I made nearly half of my estimated money need to make it to the crawl!

Plus I have a bead on a trailer I might be able to swing to haul the MJ on. It may actually happen this year!

Since I plan on driving it 8 hours, the Jeep needs:

1. Engine swap in April/May.
2. Body work, including rockers, stripping and painting bumpers and rocksliders, and any other rust spots that pop up between now and then.
3. Get new engine running reliably, especially in the cooling department.
4. Lots of general maintenance.
5. Aussie for the D30?

weel you now have the trailer / tow rig/ trail rig and ya almost had all yer cash till ya bought another Jtruck project :wave:

but youll get there if I have to carry ya. I just need to do an oil change and geta new cb in the YJ. I am MJ less at the moment. Unless i come across a screaming deal I'll be the oddball .:laugh2:

Floyd came thru KOH fairly well.

Only needs a steering column, and a couple of inside patches on a tire.

Oh, and new doors and door glass. Those aren't really necessary.
