So I didnt get to show up til friday afternoon. I had no jeep, just the truck and my younger siblings. We got to camp just in time to set up before the rain started coming in. A lot more other groups were camping up there than I remember from last time, but the facilities were just as chill as last time so all good to me.

The night had a lil twist with some bad luck for Old_Man Tom, but we got things cleared up. We did miss toms awesome BBQ but Fred handled the cooking and his canned beans were to die for :roflmao:

They left Led in charge of the raffle (who thought that was a good idea  ) And between my sister, Ellison, and Zith it was a pretty clean sweep. My sister walked out with a few great prices to help get her first vehicle, and first XJ built up and ready to go, so big thanks for those.

We woke up Saturday and headed over to chinamens with a relatively small but good group. (sorry I dont remember or know who everyone was so deal with me). We had a pretty average build group, I think the smallest was 33's and at least one locker but I was the least built in the stock dodge ram (waaaayyyyyyy too big of a truck for that trail).
The small red XJ suffered a broken shaft early on the trail, looked like it tossed the caps then broke the ears as the ujoint itself was still intact. After some heating/cooling issues he went to head back down and apparently lost all brakes as well. Hope ya got back home safe

Otherwise I took one good sized scratch, and my ego is really dinged up from needing rocks stacked up for me :dunce:. And a track bar bolt on the black/exo'd jeep snapped once off the trail as well. But we made good time and no major damage.

Anyway. On to the pics. ill post the main good ones

Thanks for posting up the pics. Pretty cool to see. Nice meeting all you guys, and thanks for the help as I limped out of the parking lot.

Track bar is fixed, and ready for the next trip...Jenny's Creek.

Were you able to knock it out like we were thinking or no? Either way hope it was an easy fix. You should get that going.down in penrose man - think you'd have a blast.
