i changed out my battery last night and fired up the heep and to my dismay it would not idle. it would fire right up then die with no sputtering or hesitation. it would run while i had my foot on the gas then die when i let off. then all of a sudden it idled by itself. so i shut it down and tried to start it again just for it to die right away. i do not know why it would do this besides something blowing out when i hooked up the new battery???

Sounds like a sticky IAC. Why not spray some oil (blaster or something similar) into the IAC opening and see what happens.
Charging or low voltage problems sometime manifest at the IAC, it seems to need all the juice it can get to function properly.
