oiling of stock compressor for OBA

I have converted my stock AC compressor into a air compressor and it works great and I plan on building a oiler for it and understand how to do that. My question is how much oil does it need? how do you know how much is not enought or too much?

If I manually lube it (before I get the oiler completed and installed) how many drops should I put in per minute (and how would you do it without removing the air filter)?

When I have the oiler done how much do I open up the port?

Thanks for any info.

On a GM engine with a stock GM A/C I installed a air tool oiler in line after the air filter. It uses very little oil and after 1 yr all is well. I am using Tri Flon from a spray can as it is very easy to fill the oiler this way.
