Couple buddies and I headed up to Rocks and Valleys Offroad park in Harrison, MI. Its a newer park so I wasnt sure what to expect. Boy was I impressed. Its not a big park but man the folks there are really putting a lot of work in it. Some really nice twisty trails, pretty good rock areas, and well marked trails. I'd highly recommend putting on the list of places to visit. I know I'll be back soon.

this place is only 45 min from me, if anyone gets up there let me know. there's a few from the west side that were talking about it.

they are only open on the weekends tho, right?

I work fri, sat, sunday. but I have the rest of the week off. I know the guy that opened this from Michigan Jeepers, (when that was around), he's pretty cool. is it worthy of an event, or should we wait till it gets better?

its not a big park. we were there from 10am til it closed at 7pm and i think we saw a majority of the park. but there are a lot of areas that you could spend hours on and there a lot of trails that arent "official" trails. you could probalby stretch it into 2 days of wheeling if you were taking your time and stopped to eat and such.

it should keep getting better. it really sounds and looks like they are putting in the effort to make it a nice park. basically every trail is carved out with excavators and they have moved around a ton of rocks to make those areas.

who was it from MJ?
