Started off life as a 2wd truck with a d35 rear, 100% rust free, with decently low miles 170k, I feel like I stole it for 700 with a clean title

First weekend of work was installing an 8.25 out of a 99 xj, welded on Barnes 4wd anti wrap perches, welded the spider gears, Barnes shock mounts to get the mounts a little closer to the parallel line of the axle, home brew bump stop extenders, bilstein 5100 11 inch travel shocks
Also swapped in a dana 30 from a 99 xj, installed an Aussie locker, rubicon express track bar and double shear mount, ares fab 1 ton steering, rubicon express springs, riff stuff diff cover, new bushings, had ball joints pressed in recently, have a ballistic fab truss I'm going to install when time permits.
It's getting the aw4 with 231 from my old cherokee and I have serious offroad long arms going on when the transmission goes in.
I'm sure there's more but my minds drawing a blank right now

Got the acos pros in, as well as the long arms, fixed the beads on my tires, still have a couple things to do today, but coming right along

Forgot to update this, got stationed in California for a minute and wasn’t around my Jeep. Due to me getting sent to California for a while, I decided to have a shop build my cage so it would be done in time for the crawl. Pictures coming soon. I also flopped it on the first trip I took it on

Nice upside-down grille.

Haven’t updated in a while, this build is taking another turn now, after I flopped it, I decided I needed a cage, so when I was stationed in Cali I had one built by a local guy, I wish I would have built it myself, there’s a lot that I dislike about it, is what it is at this point. I purchased a set of axles from a 77 f100 and am going to build them, going to be running 37” stickies. I would have went tons but I wanted under axle clearance that I can’t get with them, I am going to remove the bed, chop the frame at the body, and tube out the rear. Some of this may wind up taking a while, but I figure axles before the sec crawl this year, tube work over the next couple months. Wanna take my time and do it right for once

At the risk of being overly inquisitive or sounding stupid, the latter I'm accustomed to; where you gonna put the rear license plate?

Trail only, never plan to put it on the road, just can’t stand wheeling with a huge factory bumper

At least you didn't say tailgate. I'll figure something out.

I just wrapped mine around the bumper.

JIM.

What are you going to do with the bed? If you're looking to sell it, I'd like to get it and the rear frame to build a jeep trailer...
