Hi everyone!
I just joined the forum and I’m new here.
I just tried to search what I’m looking for but I couldn’t find anything so I’m here asking you help. Hope I’m posting in the right section.
I have a 1988 Cherokee xj Laredo 4.0 renix.
The previous owner deleted the proportioning valve and swapped the original brake booster with a different one. I can’t understand if it’s from another jeep but seems more from a different vehicle.
I already got all the necessary to swap in BB+MC from a 2001 grand Cherokee wj and I’m planning to do it this week.
At this point I’m wandering, non having the original proportioning valve from my 88 model, and having to buy one, if a valve from another xj from 1995 with no ABS could work just fine on mine. What do you guys think?
That’s the only one I’ve found close to me so if it works it would be awesome.
