steering box brace with hydro assist

I'm putting hydro assist on and am thinking I won't need the steering box brace since the ram should take the stress off of the box. Anyone have any thoughts on this. I'm going to mount my winch under there and space is limited so if I don't need it I won't put it back on.

I'm also plating the frame where the box would mount to help support the unibody there. I think it will be strong enough without the brace, just want other opinions from those that actually did what I'm doing or even those that think they know(it all :laugh3: ).

You should not need a steering box brace with hydro assist, get rid of it. :wave:
