When looking at the 2000 xj parts fiche it list the rear bump stops, or joucne bumper, with SDU or without SDU. What does the SDU stand for and how do I know whether or not my Jeep has SDU.
Thanks,
Bill

Just guessing - "sway device unit"

I believe SDU stands for Suspension Dealer Upgrade. If it came equipped with the Upcountry suspension package or not.

The Cherokee build sheet has 3 and 4 letter codes for each option or feature. There are only two sizes of rear axle bump stops, regular suspension and the +1 inch UpCountry suspension.

My 2000 has the UpCountry off-road package and build sheet shows: SDUP Heavy Duty Suspension w/Gas Shocks
