well, its back to school , so that means planning time! i want to put in a 44 front and need to learn all about it before i try anything like that. is there a site with a write up on this? what are good axles to look for? thanks

do a search.

you will find plenty of helpful posts.

try different word searches, which will bring up different threads.

A 79 Ford F250, seems to be a good donnor vechile to find a HP D44. Also Grand Wangoneers have a LP D44. Not sure which years.
