3 link question; long arm kit, aftermarket mounting points

Has anyone run a long arm kit like rusty's with only one upper arm? all my searching has produced posts about rock krawler's 3 link kit...

It seems all the UCA does is control the pinion angle. but would only having one produce too much stress on one side? (since i want to keep the passenger side UCA?)

I'm preparing a HP44 and want to keep my XJ around 5" of lift... It seems the TnT truss kit will be in the oil pan during articulation...

Seems to me it will be easier to fit the high steer, relocated track bar, and drag link without the driver side UCA and truss...
