Long way for me to drive for no wheeling......unless there is some wheeling involved....
Lefthand Canyon/Carnage is not far from Mead and I for one, am headed that way after the car show. It'll be the 1st offroading for my jeep this year.

I was thinking about going to Moab, but I'm sure the crowds are gonna be crazy. I Don't have much more time out here so if anyone is up for a some wheeling let me know. I ran Hells revenge and Poison Spyder last month would like to check out some others.

i might attempt spring creek at some point this weekend (monday?), as supposedly it has been run up through the rock garden now...

MEAD- The second annual Memorial Day Car Show, sponsored bt the Mead Chamber of Commerce, is expected to draw exibitors from several states.
More than 50 exibitors have signed up for the show, which will begin at 8 a.m. Monday with a pancake breakfest on Mead's Main Street, in front of the Scooterhinge Museum and Events Center. Cost of the pancake breakfest is $3 for adult and free for children younger than 12. Scooterhinge, which houses a collection of more than 30 vintage Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles, is normally open only for private parties, but will be open to the public during this show.
There also will be a drawing for a 1953 Buick "Special Eight" project car, donated by local auto collector Marshall Jorgenson, and vendors will offer custom auto and motorcycle parts, tools and special clothing.
Anyone wishing to exhibit a classic vehicle can pick up a registration form at the Mead Cafe or register the day of the show. For more information, call Jim Coleman at 970-391-0908.
"Last year we had 77 vehicles on exhibit and we're hoping for an even bigger show this tear," Coleman said. "In addition to the car show, we'll have a silent auction, engine display, a live DJ, great food and games for the kids"

I am planning to run China Wall on Saturday AM. There is a group of people from my office that is meeting at the Mc Donalds in Woodland park at 8:30 AM. We would be glad to have more rigs along, particularly if you have run it before. This will be my first time and I am not sure what we are getting into. I read the Traildamage.com post and it looks ok but you never know.
We will have 2 lifted Xj's a stock TJ and a shiny brand new stock 05 Xterra.

John I might have to hook up with ya for China wall. I think Led, Jeff and some others are gonna be up there this weekend.

We're leaving around 3:30 tomorrow afternoon and camping until sunday, come home, then head to Indy on monday(at least thats the last plan I heard :) ).Dont know exactly where on the trail we're setting up camp because I've never been there before.

Joey , where are you guys going to be? What time on Sunday for China Wall?

We're camping north of Woodland Park on 67..."Rainbow Falls" area. We're going to run it on Saturday though. Best bet would be to call Led on his cell...I'm sure we'll have more details tomorrow afternoon.
