Mark your calendars!

WHAT: SoCalXJ.com 14th Annual Jeep Jamboree

WHEN: Friday March 22nd – Sunday March 24th.

WHERE: Corral Canyon OHV Park

TRAIL RATING: All levels welcome. See maps below.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Roll bar or factory installed hard top.
2. Adequate attachment points front and rear, i.e. tow hooks, receiver, etc. Tow balls are not permitted.
3. Tow strap or rope (recommend rated at 2 times the vehicle weight).
4. Spare tire
5. Jack capable of lifting the vehicle & tools to change tire.
6. First aid kit.
7. Fire extinguisher with gauge indicating good/full, appropriately stored.
8. Seat belts for all vehicle occupants.
9. Battery hold downs
10. Emergency brake, parking brake, line-lock or other redundant braking system.
11. Antennas must be rigid or restrained in a manner to prevent injuries.

NOTE: This will be a co-event.

Avery keeps reminding me about the fire extinguisher but i keep putting it off...

Wonder if ill get and infraction for this....:roflmao::eyes:

I may be uncompliant on rule 10 too. Good thing I'll be on a D/S motorcycle trip in Death Valley that weekend.

But... I don't think I'd call a line lock a redundant system, you still need to use the primary system to build the pressure that those locks hold.

Well, if there was a raffle I'd make sure to put some extinguishers in there. Haha. But no raffle this year. Heck, there hasn't been a raffle in a looooooong time. Before NAXJA

SoCal chapter even existed. hehe.

But I'm still running the leaf shackles I won in that raffle.

i got 2 extinguishers for like 30 bucks at homo depot. keep one in the van, and one in the heep.

Karen says there are cabin-ish things you can rent at Lake Morena/Morena Reservoir. Dry cabins, some sort of bathroom facilities in the campground.

But I'll probably camp at Corral Canyon.
