Electric fan

How can I test to see if my electric fan is still working. Just did the rad and have not heard the fan turn on since it has been running cooler but just want to check to make sure it is still working.


Also anyone know of an easy way to convert to an electric fan instead of a engine controled. Already saw the gojeep one !!!1 I Know .

Put cardboard in front of your radiator until your temp gets up to 230. The fan should kick on at 223 degrees F. This is for 2000 4.0. You didn't give your particulars. There are many threads on fans. Here's a good one. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=991837&highlight=taurus+fan

Just switch on the AC, should kick in when it's on!

Some years do that. Not 2000 like mine.
