Need to add (since I can't edit my damn posts for some reason ) the wheels are genuine mid-'80s era Centerline Pro Stocks.

Re: New project EB

Got the engine bay cleaned up today.

I'm going to order some Edelbrock Signature series chrome valve covers for a little underhood bling and a matching 14" x 3" air cleaner and ditch this puny 10" x 2" cleaner so the thing can breathe better. I'm also going to do plugs/wires/cap/rotor while I'm at it.

Could someone please delete posts 17 - 22. Not being able to edit posts is bullshit and is really starting to piss me off.

Re: New project EB

Replaced the valve covers and air cleaner on the Bronco today and I'm pretty sure my uncle was wrong - this isn't a crate motor. I remember my cousin telling me years ago the he had the engine rebuilt but didn't give details. My uncle is sure that it is now a 302.

Imagine my surprise when I pulled the valve covers and found this:

World Products Windsor Jr. Heads with Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers!! I'm pretty sure the cam is also from Comp cams (wish I had the cam specs). Its also got a Pertronix Flame Thrower coil and Igniter ignition module. Rough guesstimate is its probably good for 300 - 350 HP.

Re: New project EB

Looking good Jeff!
Is there room to get a set of headers in there?
With the existing mods, I bet that would make a big difference.

Re: New project EB

Thanks John.

I don't know if I'll add headers or not, it does already have dual exhaust.

Re: New project EB

Gawd that engine is CLEAN! Super nice surprise to find rollers and a cam!

I hope that's not a mistake binding those plug wires together like that.... I guess if it's an issue, you'll certainly know it.

Knock it off Jeffrey......

You're making me want a .......... Ford.
