We will not be going to the Chiva Falls this trip, but continue on 4405 which turns into the lower loop above Tanque Verde Falls. The run should take most of the day but should be back to the Circle K no later than 5PM, depending on the size of the group.

A Little More Info:

On March 10th, 2007 Roger Krause ( LOWTECH ) was killed by a guy running from the cops. The guy ran a red light and hit Roger broadside. He was killed instantly. Roger was a good friend to many of us and was pretty much a legend when it came to wheeling in Arizona. TOR adopted part of the Chiva trail and the Tanque Verde falls trail in memory of Roger. Every year on the anniversary of his death we organize a run to clean up the trail and to celebrate Roger.

Redington pass is located west of Tucson, AZ with elevations ranging from 2000 ft to 3500 ft.

The clean up is usually pretty low volume on garbage as these trails are beyond where most of littering traffic ends up going.
