We will be tackling Kingston Peak Road on Saturday the 28th. This area has been identified as having a high level of off-trail use. Our goal will be to close or document these off-trail routes and bypasses and simply be good examples out on the the trail.
Where: Kingston Peak (353.1)
When: Saturday July 28th. Meeting at 10AM in Rollinsville on East Portal Road/Tolland Rd just outside of the town.
What to Bring: 4WD Vehicle, yourself, friends, gloves.

This trail heads down into Clear Creek County and does not make a loop. Licensed vehicles only for this run please, small portions are county roads and not open to unlicensed vehicles.
Depending on progress, we would like to also head up 701.1, outside of Alice to Loch Lomand and Lake Caroline. We will end the morning heading down towards Empire and Idaho Springs. Volunteers could also run Bill Moore Lake or trails in the Yankee Hill area. Both are very close.
I have highlighted the routes on the Boulder and Clear Creek MVUM’s. These trails are all on the easy side. This will be a fun Saturday morning run for anyone looking to escape the heat.
