Headed up from the heat of Fort Worth to wheel, camp, fish and all around play. What an AWESOME time of year!!!! We ran Clear Lake, Yankee Boy Basiin to Governor Basin, Black Bear to Telluride and Imogene back to Ouray as a day trip, Mineral Creek to Poughkeepsie Gulch...all in that order. All were great trail condition, great scenery and stunning colors. By the way, if you are ever going SOUTH (uphill) on Poughkeepsie...you MUST have a winch and lockers, NOT just recommended as the sign says!!! We were stuck below the rock wall without a winch to get up, but still an astonishing trip! Good rainbow trout fishing at Crystal Lake. We were not part of the Jeep Jamboree, and very few people on the trails which made it very peaceful.
