I ordered a set of Alloy USA d44 shafts a while ago and I'm gonna go ahead and get everything pressed on so I can use them.

But I wanted to make sure I got the correct backing plates.

Here's a picture:

They have no lip. Just a flat piece of metal. Did they send me the correct ones?

Thanks.

Steve

Those look correct for a drum brake application. The bolt hole centers should measure about 3-3/8" accross and 2" top to bottom.

thanks. all i could remember was seeing a little lip on one side of the center hole in all of the disk break swap writeups. and i couldn't remember if the stock 44 plates should have the lip. and yes, it's drum brakes on my 44 (for now at least)

thanks
