does anybody have anyword on when hackett and longwater gulches are going to open? it has been a long time since the fire. are the trails rehabbed yet or are they still in bad shape?

4/12/07: All of our previous work at Metberry Gulch has held up well during the winter and the beginning of the spring run-off. The trail looks good and we are hopeful for a opening soon.
4/12/07: ALL THE GULCHES ARE CLOSED. Douglas County has signed the paperwork and we are now waiting for the Forest Service to sign the agreement. Hopefully, this will happen soon and Metberry Gulch will open in the next two months.
