Strange happenings...
Both heater cores are out, so while in the '97 Dodge 3500 on a road trip, I picked up a cheap (worthless) accessory heater that plugs into the cig lighter from a truck stop.
Next morning, no headlights... only marker lights??
So fired up the '95 xj and used that heater on a short drive. After being parked for a day, no headlights, only marker lights. The high beams do come on when pulled back btw..
Is this coincidence?? The heater was the lower output of the two available, and doesn't put out much at all.
I checked all the xj fuses, and the plug to the front clip wiring for corrosion, and all seems well. The headlight switch itself is only a few years old, but I plan to pull and check it out tomorrow.
Any ideas?
