Picked up another XJ and I am getting ready to start the build again.

I am replaceing the 90 since it is already wearing down and flexing out. So I came across this 2001 XJ at the shop I work at and picked it up for (after the pic's)

Sorry my wife to be got in a pic.:skull1:

Ok the price.

500 bucks

Let the good times roll.

Wow awesome deal. Anything wrong with it? And I see it already has the NAXJA sticker on it

sweet deal man, good luck with it:cheers:

the guy came down since a friend told me about it. It had a broken lower control arm to the axle and needed to get home to NY. So the rest is history.

And yes I put the NAXJA sticker on it and also put 2 RC stickers on it. Had to make the first mods:laugh2: Remeber, stickers add 5000HP to the XJ.

and 14'' of suspension travel, and they add rigidity to the unibody:rof:

Wow that thing is clean!!! Great, now we gotta listen to you whine each time you ding it up!!!!:laugh2::laugh2:

Ok, LP30 is on the way out. HP30 is sitting waiting to be put in.

Andy. I will only cry one time as I drive into RC knowing that it will no longer have a cherry. POP POP:cry: But one trip over crawlers ridge will stop that.
Also the roof of the jeep needs a repaint. It has rust spots all over it. But that will be done in time.

And Bob glad to hear you will be keeping your's.

My X got it's cherry busted at Rocktoberfest..Oh yeah..

Ready for trail cuttin day/wheein..I'll put a few more stickers on it to get some extra lift..just to be sure..

congrats on the new Jeep!! Nice...

Hi, I am new to offroading in general, expesialy prerunners. I line in East TX so not much place for a prerunner, however, I became annoyed with all the local off roaders because they drive really really slow and it pissed me off. Mainly because I was driving 3 times as fast as them in a beat to hell Honda Civic (it was cheaper then a Go-Cart) This summer I am planning on buying a 91-98 jeep Cherokee 4x4 and turning it into a prerunner typeish off road vehicle. I do not intend to drive it 60+ mph over jumps and all that, I just want something that can do a bit of speed without powdering my spleen, or breaking my neck, or snapping my spine. I do not intend to put any bigger tires on it then 31s and I am not afraid to chop my finders up to create more room. I don't plan on building something beautiful. I would like to lift it 2-3”, not any more. I am wondering if this is at all possible (for a decently small amount of money as I am paying my way through college right now) and also how to go about it. I have never had an off road vehicle before so I do not have much experience with them. These are some suspension lifts I found online. Not sure if they are good or not, just any info on how to go about this, and what all I need would be greatly appreciated.
