want to buy an XJ

Hey, i am new to the four wheeling community and dont have alot of money to spend, but i would like to buy an Xj that can be used on the trails but also pass emissions and driven on the road.

I am located in Chattanooga TN and have 1000-1500 cash to spend on the Cherokee. This can be somewhat of a project but not too much of one. Thanks
