Its that thread! Whatcha need to do?

Electric fan set-up
Transfercase linkage
Shafts and hopefully a locker for the new D30
3-link the front for the new D30
Gear, lock and install the spare D44 I have with disc conversion

Some glimmer of hope I would like to get a harness bar in to run some 4/5 point harnesses. After seeing a couple instances, one specifically where the driver could not buckle back in because the seatbelt stayed locked up, I'd like to have a harness.

1. Acquire 231....CHECK
2. Acquire SYE for 231
3. Install said 231
4. Acquire a new D30 and rebuild/re-gear. Possibly order new locker if current one is screwed.
5. Try to get a handle on some of the oil leaks (yeah, right)

Install shafts
Install PS pump and bleed everything
Set my bumpstops a bit different
Build a harness bar somehow and bolt up the harnesses.
Put some speakers in it to go with the radio
Fix the hole in the exhaust
Rewire my rock lights
Replace motor mounts
Install the cover on the roof

There's more but I can't think of it right now.

Cage, axles, t-case....

ahhhhh....install a steering box plate......... i love not having a todo list. i have to put it on the trailer and go

Acquire a tow rig
Replace stupid mobile home axles on trailer
Regear to 4.56
Install CB
Install PS tube door
Show up to Crawl.

When you figure out a harness bar, let me know. However you have a cage so it might not work for me anyways.

fix anything that breaks at WF
and grow one of these...

i gotta get my drivers license renewed .. new law in sc where you cant get a tag with an out of state license..
im going to need a YJ brake cables and a JY driveshaft.
then im good to go!

So far only thing i know of is replacing the shift fetent springs & intermediate gear in my t-case... Chipped 2 teeth ever so slightly from popping out of rear drive... It's a shame a 43 cent spring ruined a $300 gear.

fix whatever I break at WF. Now the WF list is pretty big....

That is what you put in last year's thread! Save yourself some time next year, just quote and paste!!

Lots of little things...

1. Install SYE
2. Repairs to the swaybar disconnects
3. Install tranny cooler
4. Get new 31' spare tire
5. If time and money are available...get the drop brackets and rear shackles and go up 2 more inches. (#5 is not likely)
6. Get new CB antenna mount

it'll have rear shocks this year!! Hoping to finish up the shock mounts this week and get me some shocks ordered. Then it's on to bellypan. It's not looking like the body work is going to get done before WF, so probably no fenders....

but rear shocks is big.

87 'hasn't had 4 working shocks in years' manche

After smashing my toe this weekend by walking into them, I was suddenly reminded that I have a set of sliders that need to be painted and installed as well!
