Ran up Hermit a little ways, didn't go too far as I didn't have any other vehicle. Found out the KM2's do fairly well but don't hold a side hill for crap. It might make a nice little outing while the snows aren't too deep. If someone wants to head up that way I could probably be persuaded to go again.

I love Hermit Pass. Here I am on my Dual Sport. IN JUNE!

LOL!

It's a bit far for me for a day trip but I will be back there this summer with the Jeep and the bike.

Hermit Road actually crosses through Westcliffe, Co.

From the springs you could take 115 to 67. Follow 67 to 96 in Wetmore, then follow 96 all the way to Westcliffe where you would take a left on 69. Just a few blocks down, Hermit road is on the right.

Lost a power steering return line on my Durango a few years back coming down that road. Had to strong arm it all the way down to Westcliffe. Fookin' dealer didn't install the hose clamp after replacing the PS gear box.

Great area, great scenery too.
